Meeting and Study Rooms





Meeting Rooms

Several Library locations offer meeting rooms for use by individuals, organizations, and businesses. Meeting rooms are available free of charge.

To ensure equitable community access, all meetings held in Library meeting rooms must be free and open to the public. Private celebrations are not permitted. Meeting rooms may not be used for financial gain, including selling goods or services, fundraising activities, business solicitation, or accepting donations.

Meeting Room Reservation Guidelines

  • Reservations must be made in advance, either online or with assistance from Library staff.
  • Requests may be submitted up to 60 days in advance and no fewer than three days before the meeting date.
  • The Gallery Space at the Main Library may be reserved once per month per group
  • The Boardroom at the Main Library and meeting rooms at branch locations may be reserved up to twice per month per group
  • After submitting a request, you will receive an email confirming the date, time, and approval status of your reservation.

Study Rooms

Small-group study rooms are available at the Main Library in Lancaster and the Northwest Branch in Carroll.

  • Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance.
  • Customers may reserve one study room session of up to two hours per day.
  • If no other reservations are scheduled, individuals and groups may continue using the room beyond their reserved time.
  • Reservations will be canceled if the room is not claimed within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time.
