Dog Tales, now by appointment!

Dog Tales is now by appointment! The new format for this program will be a twenty minute block of time where a child can read one-on-one with our canine volunteers and their owners. This change will enhance the benefit to literacy skills for beginning readers. Reading one-on-one will give struggling readers a chance to practice their skills in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Teen iPads and Teen Room

Teens can check out ipads for use in the Teen Room here at the Main Library! The iPads are loaded with a bunch of great apps like Khan Academy, Badland, Angry Birds, Temple Run, Math vs Zombies, NASA, Spotify, and more.

Day Care Kits

Day care theme kits are available here at the library on topics such as adoption, feelings, dinosaurs, pets, and more.  Each kit contains 10-12 preselected items related to a particular theme appropriate for use with preschool-aged children.
