Books and Such

Books & Such is a store located just inside the front door of the Main Library at 219 N. Broad Street, in Lancaster. The Friends of the Library operate this store and sell gently used books, music CDs, videocassettes, and movies on VHS and DVD. All proceeds from sales are used by the Friends of the Library, a nonprofit organization, to help fund activities and services at the Fairfield County District Library.

Our selection of merchandise changes frequently, so stop by often to view the new items lining our shelves.

Books & Such Hours:

Sunday, Monday and Friday	1:00pm - 4:00pm
Tuesday and Thursday	10:00am - 1:00pm
Wednesday	4:00pm - 7:00pm

Donations:

The gently used books, CDs and videos sold at Books & Such are either donations or discards from the library's collection. If you have items you would like to donate to the library, please consult our Donation Guidelines.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Books & Such is staffed completely by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at Books & Such, please submit a volunteer application or call 653-2745, extension 104.
