If you would like a receipt, please ask for one. The number and type of items donated will be noted on the receipt HOWEVER neither library staff nor Friends can place a value on the donation. You or the person preparing your tax return will be responsible for determining the Fair Market Value of the materials donated.

We can accept:
  • fiction and nonfiction books
  • hardbacks and paperbacks
  • any materials regarding the history of Lancaster and Fairfield County including yearbooks and family history compilations
