Fines and Fees

21 Days and Counting...

Materials checked out from the Main Library or any Branch Library are due back in 21 days, or less. Customers will receive a printed receipt listing items and date(s) due each time they borrow materials.

The library has a large collection of VHS tapes, DVDs, computer software, music CDs, books on tape and books on CD for all ages. Each customer may have up to ten videos and/or DVDs at one time. Each customer may also have up to ten CDs of music.

Need More Time? Renew It!

Items may be renewed three (3) times, if the items are not on hold.

You may renew materials online, automatically by phone, by phone with a library staff member or in person with your library card in hand.

Please Don't Overdue It...

Please return your library materials on time so they will be available for other library users. If you do not return materials on time, a fine will be charged to your library account.

Library fines accrue up to 25% of the cost of the overdue item.

Overdue Notices

If you forget to return your library materials on time, you will receive two reminders and then a bill for the entire cost of the overdue materials.

If you owe fines and/or fees over $25.00...

Your account will be sent to a collection agency and an additional non-refundable fee of $10.00 will be added to the balance due on your account.

Your Limit

If you reach the $2.00 limit of fines/fees owed and/or 5 or more items overdue limit, your borrowing privileges will be suspended.

Found It?

If you find an item that has been declared lost, simply return it to any library location. You will owe a $5.00 processing fee and any accumulated fines.

If you find a lost item within one year after you paid for it, bring it to any library location and we will refund the cost of the item or credit your account. The $5.00 processing fee and fines you paid will not be refunded.
