Winter Reading Program Book Bingo

The Winter Reading Program will begin on December 1, 2016.

All entries must be received by February 28, 2017. Book titles may only be used once per card, and only one card per person.

Preschool and school age children are invited to participate in the library’s Winter Reading Program: Elephant & Piggie Book BINGO! To join, simply pick up your free BINGO card at any Fairfield County District Library location. Once you have your card, you can start crossing off squares by reading and doing library related activities. Attend a library program! Listen to an audio book! Read an award winning book! All these activities—and more—will help you fill your BINGO card! Once you have made a BINGO, bring your card back in to the library to earn a piece of candy or a sticker, as well as a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card! But don’t stop at just one BINGO. There are lots of ways to make a BINGO on your card, and you can earn candy and a chance to win for each BINGO you make! Children who complete all 25 spaces on their BINGO card will also earn a free book from the Friends of the Library. For even more fun, check out the Elephant & Piggie parties happening at each library location on a special day. You’ll hear some great stories, do an Elephant & Piggie themed craft, and even have the chance to get your picture taken with Elephant & Piggie! Program day and times vary by location, so be sure to check the event listing for your branch library.

Beginning December 1, pick up your bingo card at the Information Desk on the first floor of the Main Library or at any library branch location. Read books or do activities listed on Book BINGO squares. Each book counts for only one square. When you have five squares in a row, you’ve made a BINGO! For each BINGO you make, enter a drawing for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Fill up the entire card to earn a free book from the Friends of the Library. All entries must be received by February 28, 2017. Each person may only complete one BINGO card.
