Wireless Printing at Baltimore

While at the Baltimore Branch library, you can print to our public printer after you have downloaded the printer driver temporarily on your laptop. Please see below for directions. The cost is 20 cents per page.

Key Requirements

1. You have to be an administrator on the laptop you are using.
2. File and Print Sharing should be turned on.
3. Anything that prevents software or drivers from installing on your laptop will prevent the mobile printing from working because it needs to download printer driver. If you have problems, please check your firewall and anti-virus settings.

Please Note: Staff can help with basic troubleshooting, but cannot help configure your laptop. They will not be able spend too much time troubleshooting each patron's machine. Thank you for understanding.

Click on the link below to start the auto-installer. After the auto-installer completes, a Print Client will open on your machine. When you have finished printing and close the Print Client, the application will disappear. To close the Mac Print Client, press Command-Q or select "Quit LPT One Mobile Print Client" from the LPT One Mobile Print Client menu.

Please Note: After the drivers install on a PC, you may see a window pop up telling you that the program may not have installed correctly. This is normal and does not affect your abilty to print. It also does not matter what option you click on that window.
